Launching in 2011

Submissions are being accepted now.

Share your knowledge with the world and posterity.

Because books and other sources of knowledge are not complete, this site is being created to provide little-known supplemental information and commonly known information with different emphases. If you are a verifiable professor, schoolteacher, scholar, author, doctorial student, or professional researcher, you are eligible to submit articles. If you are a college or university student, you may submit with the recommendation of a verifiable instructor.

Every submission (except for content deemed hateful, severely objectionable, or highly questionable) will be placed online. Each article will be read before it is published on this site.

Your submission of 5,000 words or less (preferably 300 to 2,000 words) is to be based on well-known or little-known (but significant) Africana events and/or people. (For details, click on the "How to Submit Your Article" link above.) Digital photographs and illustrations may be included if you assume the responsibility for them.

Please click on the "How to Submit" and "FAQ" links above for more information. Some of the links are not yet active.

This site is not the place for personal viewpoints, so if you want to...

EXPRESS YOUR OPINION

Everyone is eligible to author a page (on any subject that can be updated at any time )
on our new sister site: AfricanAmericanOpinions.com
that is also now under construction.
